BME junior Ariane Garrett, who has been with the Hoshino group since her freshman year, is one of the 496 students selected nationally for the award. Established by the United States Congress, the Goldwater Scholarship is considered one of the most prestigious scholarship for undergraduates in math, natural sciences, and engineering.
